For 20 pounds Sterling they will do a trace on TR 4/5/6/7 [TR8 too]. They say "quote the year, make, model of car, together with the all-important commission/chassis number. Remittances should be made payable to B.M.I.H.T. You will receive a certificate suitable for framing. Unfortunately it is not possible to trace a car on any other basis than the commission (chassis) number." -Adrian Jefferies.

I have found The TR7 CENTRE to be very helpfull and above all patient with me as I am not a mechanic and The staff at the workshop only to pleased to help. More importantly there prices are very competative, and they are 10 minutes f rom Junction 4 on the M6 (Corley services through the gate & it takes 5 minutes) they try to keep TR7's on the road. They have several for sale at every price range and only brake for spares if there is no hope.
The stock carried covers just about everything needed from TR7 2Lt / Sprint / V8. I paid by Credit Card & the parts arrived 36hrs later. The Centre is usually open at 10.00am and stays open until 10.30pm. I do not finish work untill late my self and have found the late hours they do a great bonus (No answer machine WHAT BLISS ) Give them a bell and speak to Mark and see for your self.

I've FAX'd orders to them and have been very pleased. They have neat TR7/8 catalogs and have all the goodies you'll need to convert your TR7 to a real Rover-engined TR7V8. Watch the value of the pound if you're buying from the US. The prices are good if it's about $1.50 per pound. Shipping big heavy parts is best done surface (boat) if you can wait and small items by Air Parcel Post. Shipping isn't cheap but sometimes Rimmers has just what you need. - Jim TenCate.
