Jaguar in Trans Am?

OK, so not exactly auto-x related, but I'm hoping some of you
out there with better / longer memories than mine could tell me
the last year (if ever) a Jaguar competed in the SCCA Trans Am.

And a question for you all,  what would you think of Toyota competing
in Trans Am with a 4 valve engine?  It's going to happen.  And would 
that be a CP car?  ( I knew I could find some auto-x content.)   :)
