Launching (for me) is a three-step process:

1) Rev car to 7000 RPM, and hold parking brake up.
2) As the last yellow comes on, sidestep clutch while slamming park brake down.
3) Watch red RX-7 get small in rear view mirror.   :)

What, you don't have AWD? Bummer. :)
