Changing tires at home for the first time, I just realized that my left-front R1 is only inflated to 11 psi. Is it safe to drive 1/2 mile to a gas station to inflate the tire? The trip involves <25 mph speeds, 4 turns (including the turn into the station), and one steep hill. My car is very front-heavy, 2800 lb., and FWD. Opinions? Hopefully I'm just making a mountain out of a mole hill about this (though I must admit I've never seen a mole hill). Thanks, Seth Frader-Thompson |
