Yes, under the update/backdate rule -- *if* the cars you're swapping
between are listed on the same line within the SP class structure.  And
*if* the swap is a drop-in deal which doesn't require any special
modifications not otherwise allowed in within SP.  Take a look at section
14 and the SP classes in the rulebook.  It's not as wide-open as it
sounds.
