Here in Red River Region, we charge $10 for SCCA members (regardless
of their region) - $15 for non-members - and only $5 for novices. 
Since we don't have to pay rent for our two primary sites, we don't
have a lot of overhead.

I can't imagine where the tax issue would come into question.  But,
then again, we don't have to file yearly tax statements since our
yearly income is FAR below the $25K ceiling for filing.
