Gregg and I are on the same page, here. I tried very hard to come up with the lightest trailer possible. My Texas Bragg 16' tandem with brakes comes in at 1600#, and I think you'll be hard pressed to come up with anything that's much lighter. Assuming this, you're still towing around 3000#. I've towed with (other peoples') Cherokees, Broncos, etc. I think the minimum wheelbase, track, mass, etc. that you want is a full sized, short bed, standard cab truck. Charlie Davis  |
