This evening I recieved an e-mail from this list with a
.PIF file attached.  My Norton AntiVirus with a virus definition
file did not catch this file, and neither did a system scan until
I rescanned with the "Scan all files" option checked.
Bottom line, I caught the W32.Badtrans.B@mm virus.  You

Following those instructions, I finally removed the beast.
So beware of PIF files, as well as the normal exe's and vbs'.
