I know this is an interesting dilema for a car like this but here goes.
We have a 97 M3 with @75k mi. It needs new rotors, pads, and sensors all
around. Dealer price (not installed) is about $650. I can get the same OEM
brakes from BMP Design for about $350, but i'm willing to spend more than
that on a decent set of upgraded brakes. I haven't looked far, but figured
somone on the list knows of a good source for decent stuff. I did however
see some brake upgrades at uucmotorwerks.com--for a hefty $3000. Ouch. I'm
willing to spend @$600-700. Any info will be appreciated.
