The cost of the rulebook for members is $20.00 and $25.00 for
non-members, if you purchase it from Merchandise at the national office.
If your Region is charging $25.00 then they may like to make a small
profit to cover their cost and help put some, not much, but some,
additional money in the bank. (That doesn't sound like it waaaay out of
line to me.)
Now, if the guy that complained about the cost of the rulebook his
region is selling the books for, than order it from the national office
and pay the $20.00 plus a $5.00 mastercard/visa handling fee and the
cost of shipping, which may be about $9.00 or so. The $15.00/book days
are long gone. That way your Region won't make any profit from you anymore.
To me, sounds like that guy's region saved him some money and made a
dollar or two at the same time.
