This year's Solo Nationals pointed out to me, AGAIN, that I really do
need to invest in a set of rain tires for the Mini. So I'd like to pick
your collective brains for ideas.
This is a 1500-pound DP Austin Mini running on 20/7-13 (180/515-13) slicks.
I'm leaning toward the soft compound Yokohama Advan A032R in either the
175/60-13 or 215/50-13 size. But I'd really like to be able to get by
with something less than $400 for a set of tires that are only going to
be used once or twice a year -- at the most. They'll be going on 13x6 rims.
