Acrylic panel spruce-up

In preparation for the Canton show, I'll be working on smoothing out the
swirls, nicks, etc in the acrylic panels on my car .... any advise as to
getting the body back to it's "smooth as glass" surface? No matter what I
do / try, I'm not satisfied with the results. Specific products and or
methods would be appreciated!!
