As stated in my earlier post, the original 74 brochure and wall posters, of
which there was one of each color and which I am looking at (both the brochure
and poster) as I type this all showed the gas strut. My 74 came with the
attachment points in place. I.E. i did not have to install the base plate
Terry supplies as mine came from the factory. They just didn't install the
struts. Pugs
