These bo;ts are to hold the drum in place for the assembly line only.  I
often visited the AMC plant in Kenosha, and a lot of the components were on
conveyors overhead.  Something had to hold these drums in place.  GM used
some large spring nuts that went over the lugs.  Don't worry about broken
ones.
