Hi Ryan,
Unfortunately, it is internally regulated and does not maintain the original
wiring schematic, while this may not be important to some, including
yourself, this was the point of my post.   There are a host of internally
regulated & single wire alts out there.   And I would suggest that if you
install a 140amp alt that you increase the gauge of the alt - batt lead.

   You could get a powermaster ford racing altenator with 140 amps out of
summit racing, Thats what I got on mine and I have enoghf electricity to run
evrything I have on my car.
