Because of the crossflow, transverse mounted OEM muffler, there are only TWO
possibilities to maintain close to stock appearance, both with different
compromises.
The original specs, thanks to Bob Hoffman are:
Case length: 24.0"
Case thick: 4.5"
Case width: 10.5"
Dual inlet: 2.25"
Dual outlet: 2.0"
CROSSFLOW: each side has an inlet and outlet.

The only Flowmaster that offers CROSSFLOW is a SERIES 80, and these puppies
are loud! These are the loudest Flowmaster standard cases you can buy, so
that should give you some idea. Borla tips may help, but don't expect
miracles.

Flowmaster specs:
P/N: 42582
Case length: 20.0"
Case thick: 4.0"
Case width: 9.75"
Dual in/out: 2.5" CROSSFLOW

A much quieter, but also much smaller alternative is the sole CROSSFLOW
Dynomax Super Turbo Series (this actually crosses over to a Grand National
so it should be ok resistance wise).
Dynomax specs:
P/N: 17725
Case length: 16.0"
Case thick: 4.25"
Case width: 9.75"
Dual in/out: 2.25" CROSSFLOW

Borla makes tips close to OEM.
Borla stainless Turn Down intercooled exhaust tip specs:
P/N: JEGS #157- 20109; 20110; 20140
diameter 2.25"; 2.5"; 3.0" respectively
length: 9.0"

Well, there you have it. It takes a little work, but it's nice to get the
actual specs, isn't it?
Thanks again to Bob Hoffman of Bob's Brickyard for taking the time to
actually measure the OEM exhaust.
