Hmm.  I have an older 3.5 that has been bored and stroked to 4.8L in my
Range Rover.  It is fitted with bigger Chev valves.  The EFI has bigger
injectors, the ECU is a programmable Haltech system.  The bottom end is
strengthened to allow high revs.  It has a Walkinshaw cam.

It was built by Australian Rover specialist John E. Davis Motor Works but it
doesn't put out 350bhp.  It still runs into the standard ZF 4HP22 4-speed
auto box.

You could try John Eales in the UK - they tune the engines.  Check Land
Rover Owner International magazine for addresses for them and other engine
builders.
