I'm under the impression that the TR7 and TR8 radiators
are the same, except for different size inlets and outlets.
Just have your TR7 radiator inlets and outlets replaced
with larger ones to fit the TR8 hoses and you're set.
One of the guys with a Buick V6 on the wedge list runs
Buick Regal V8 radiator (the rear wheel drive version
from '79 to '87 or so). He did have to drop the lower
mount a bit IIRC.

Does anyone have any expertise in doing a TR7 to Rover V8 with "non-stock"

How can I mount the radiator? Does anyone know of a suitable alternative
radiator to the rare and expensive stock TR8 radiator? I read somewhere
where a late model GM V-6 radiator might fit, and be actually a better
design>
