Hey Curt... I have done 4 wheel discs on my 62 Skylark... The rears come via
a '78 Lincoln Versailles rear-end..customized with the Skylark coil/arm
mounts welded on bottom and custom brackets for the top arms... The fronts
are much easier... They were done by a gentleman in NY... Obsolete Brakes in
Bohemia...BUT... The guy behind it all now works at US Muscle (also NY)... I
have both phone #'s at work... I can send the along tommorrow evening...
Also, Master Power Brakes offers a "kit" also... Much more expensive but I'm
sure the brackets,etc. are probably nicer!? Both places require you to send
along you spindles for modification... They are notched slightly for the GM
mid-size caliper bracketry and a sleeve is pressed on to change the bearing
size used to common GM mid-size rotors... I payed $450 including Power
booster/master cylinder... This unit required fenderwell cutting/welding and
IS NOT A BOLT-IN! Stick with the original or switch to a "modern" dual
non-power master for ease of install The Master Power "kit" is $800-900!!!
