do S10 seats fit OK?

Dear group;

Someone told me that Chevy S10 seats will fit.  He put them into a sunbeam
alpine, and he also has a roadster 1600.  He thought they would fit the
roadster too.

Anyone try them?  They would  likely be a lot cheaper to buy than RX7 seats
