Hello,
My starter has been acting up lately. It turns fine for about two-three
seconds but then it is intermitent. Almost like a weak battery. But the
battery is new and strong. It is the starter going out. I was told that I
can just pull it out and clean the brushes and that should cure the problems.
The starter is only two years old. Btw... it is a Lucas unit. I know, I
know..... okay.
When I pull out the unit what should I look for? Any tips or ideas?
