Hi everyone,
It's supposed to be sunny and near 70 degrees the rest of the week here in
Minnesota so I hope to get my roadster out on the road sporting its new
shocks. Just wanted to thank everyone for the advice about how to get that
darn bottom plate back on that holds the spring in place. I ended up trying
what Eric sayed. I unbolted the upper ball joint from the upper a-arm. That
in turn droped the lower a-arm with the spindle down enough to put the plate
back on without a spring compresser. And you know what, it worked very
slick. I don't think it would have been much easier using a spring
compresser. And best of all, I didn't have to spend $60 on a spring
compresser.
Now I just have to get my L20b put back together so I can do the swap.
