Hey Folks!
As you know, the West Coast Z nationals are being held on April 29th, the
day after Solvang in Orange, CA. As I put out before, I have received an
invitation from Greg Smith, Vice-President of Motorsport Auto to show our
cars. Since there is no official classification for our cars, we are able to
show our cars with no registration fees. There will be hundreds of Z cars
there and will afford an opportunity to get our cars seen as well as see
some incredible Datsun sports cars.
I have six people including myself that have committed to going and would
like to get as many people to go as possible. (Vic? Roman? Fergus? Gary? Jon
Frampton?) Edgar Gonzalez is planning to bring his 1960 SPL212 to the show
and I am sure it will make as big a splash as it will in Solvang.
I am planning to meet at the Irvine Spectrum on Sunday Morning at 9:00 am
and then caravaning over to the show. I know that may be a little early
after coming back from Solvang or if you are planning to drive back from
Solvang on Sunday morning. I will of course get directions to the show and
have them at Solvang and anyone who wants to come later- well we will save a
place for you... ;-)
