All,
Today I took the doors off the car. (With more than a little help from
Victor Laury). I didn't know that the door hinges connect to the chassis
with a floating hinge mount. I guess it is so you can adjust the door
alignment. Pretty neat. Problem is I broke a bolt off on one of the mount
points.
I have now re-read the posts about removing the broken head bolt. Problem is
this piece moves. Do the rules change? Drill it out? Easy out? Or do I just
say screw it and let the body shop take care of it?
