Well, unfortunately work calls and my job is more important than having way
too much fun. I spoke with Mike Young this morning and he still plans on
being at the rest stop off of north 280 between 9:30 and 10 AM. I am sure
you will all have a great time. See some of you at Shasta--maybe.
A side note-I was in Iowa for a working vacation and my brother and I
spotted a crusty looking '69 1600 and we also ran into a guy who said he
owned a 67 1600. My brother is working on his '68. I could not get any VIN's
for the registry but there are roadsters in Iowa. As a matter of fact I have
around 12 new ones people have submitted in the last three weeks.
That takes it well over 1100. Not too bad since I am 900 over what some said
I would ever get registered.
