Yeah, the engine is different :-)

Sorry, sorry....

The engine, tranny, driveshaft is different. I think the tranny mount, too.

The rear end is different. Higher ratio (3.9 vs 3.7), to gain a little more
top end.

The shifter plate in the cab is different. Hole is slightly forward and it
has the 5-speed pattern plate on it (the body has an elongated oval
and a plate welded in to accomodate either 4- or 5-speed setups).

The tach (0-8000 vs 0-6000) and speedo (0-140/0-160 vs 0-120)
are different.

I believe the exhaust pipe is larger. 1-3/4 vs 1-1/2? I don't think
the 1600 had the resonator and flare tip, either, but I'm not sure.
