All,

I just wanted to thank everyone for their support over the last 5 years! I
wish I had time to thank you all individually. I often asked stupid
questions, but I never go a stupid answer. Buying the roadster my senior
year of highschool effectively changed the path of my life. I went from
never doing an oil change to a restoration in about 1 week. Then my new
found love for mechanical things made me change my major to mechanical
engineering, got me involeved with the university race team, and helped me
find my job at Sunoco. Without this list and comunity I would have become
frustrated a log time ago and given up.

Last night at about midnight I got the car ready for its trip to the Glen
and I just had to thank a few people who have really been terrific these
last 4 weeks. First Bill Murdock for loaning me the carbs off his car, I
have them cleaned up and they run great! Next Gary Boone for supplying such
a wonderful distributor. Mike Sachs, for taking time out of his day to help
with the car and supply all the last minute parts. Mark Dent for all the
advice and phone calls that seem to come right when I'm ready to walk out of
the garage and throw in the towel. Sid for the lightening fast e-mails.
The Vendors for their never ending knowledge and patientence. And everyone
else who has answered one of my questions.

The new distributor is in. The new headlights are installed and aimed. The
new wiring for the headlights and fan is working. The new 3 core radiator
is installed along with the new fan, radiator caps and proper thermostat.
The carbs are on and tuned up. The new springs and sway bar are installed.
The car is at the alignment shop. I'm trailering it up[ this year since I
do not have any time driving with the new parts. But the trailer is sitting
in the driveway ready for the car. We are leaving at 3am to be up there for
the start of the sporting roadsters tour at 8:30.

I can't wait. The weather looks good, the car runs great and I will get to
see so many friends for the first time in a year and a few for the first
time ever.

Good Luck and Happy Roads
