A well developed Z-tek can produce almost 250HP. 2 years ago I drove a
Birkin with the same engine that had 237HP and the owner was selling it to
get a more powerful Z-Tek powered Birkin.
The Birkin w/me weighed about 1200 lbs and went from 0-60 in about 3.3
seconds. Although I didn't drive it to get that time I did do several
burnouts in 2nd gear and scared myself to death. I was afraid to try it in
1st gear. The owner wanted me to punch it and I did :)
FWIW, a Birkin is almost the same as a Caterham which is almost the same as
a Lotus 7. Amost . . .
