hi everyone
i just "inherited" a 1966 (289, 2V, auto) Mustang Coupe, that came with
three words attached that instill fear in parents everywhere around Christmas
time: "some assembly required."
the engine was re-built, and mostly assembled, in 1999. the intake
manifold, carburetor, distributor, and coil were all that remained to be
installed
when the car was parked. i re-built the carburetor, and installed it and the
intake manifold. now i'm stuck, so i ask the friends who would know.
how do i install the distributor? i think there is still a mark to indicate
the distributor's position in the block, but i have no idea where the rotor
should be pointing, or where the pistons all are. HELP!
