Rattling top latches, cure

I don't know which Solvang-veteran gave me the idea, but if you unbolt
your top latches, and go buy a roll of velcro at the fabric store, and
put a 3-4" loop of one "gender" underneath the latch and bolt it back
on, you can then latch them quiet whether the top is up or down.  I
always seem to have one of the latches loose when the top is up, so it
keeps them latched and quiet.   Fergus O, 69 2000, HB, CA
