Greetings,
Since my last project update (late March), the servo synchro 4 speed has
been rebuilt. All of the parts I bought were from the local Nissan
dealer (Mike Whitman, parts manager, Fort Wayne Nissan) My employer
manufactured a new counter shaft and repaired the shift linkage due to
wear. With the engine and transmission now rebuilt (by Dave Isaacs,
friend, a local Datsun enthusiast, 71 240Z owner, and professional
mechanic), some major reassembly was long overdue. Ten new pictures
have been posted to classicfairlady.com including a sequence of shots
detailing mounting the body on the frame. I included some detailed
descriptions for each picture.
