I've installed several tops. Just take your time and use an exacto knife for 
the cuts.
Crown ( a cheaper top) gives instructions that are pretty easy. A better top 
(robbins) may require an upholstery shop since the fabric is heavier.
I paid $175 for a top install a few years ago.
