Don't think he has the comprehensive 62 - 65 1500 FAIRLADY registry that I
researched. Very limited on the big brother to all the other roadsters.
Don't have names and pictures, but have VIN and G motor matching and
discovered that Rallye's information was off about 12 serial numbers of being
where
Datsun started production. Rallye had said they started selling with VIN
#00088. I discovered that it appears they started with VIN #00076 (G motor
serial number was lowest at that VIN, seems 1- 75 where stuffed with later
series
G motors).
Steve - if you want to add this, here you go, year is STAMPED sold year, not
production year necessarily. This is the most information I could get from
various resources as well as owner response. Where possible, it is indicated
the single vs. the dual carb set up. From what I discovered the first 300
were made with singles, but many that did not initially sell where retrofitted
(by dealer or the factory) with duals. Case in point is VIN 00161 which is
earlier production than my other one VIN 00289. 161 plate is factory dual
carb 85 HP, vs 289 which is factory plate 77 HP single.
