Hello all, we spotted another roadster in NY today while fighting our way
through the Glen on race day , Royal Crown 200 Rolex. Dark blue Datsun
shooting up the hill on part of the vintage road course which is really a
village street. Every sighting is a big thrill, watching a roadster fly up a
hill is sweet. Town was full of great cars counted 18 Porsche, 9 Jags, 5
Lotus, a new Morgan, 3 Ferrari just on Main Street, and best of all, a little
Datsun.
Just a note on the light colored roadster we saw in Greene, NY last week, 2
co-workers saw 2 Datsun roadsters, an ivory and a blue one at the Spiedie Fest
in Binghamton, NY which is about 20 miles from Greene. After seeing our car
and hundreds of pictures and hearing constant monologs about everything we are
doing with the car, they, too, can identify a Datsun roadster, and probably
read a show tag. Ain't education wonderful.
