Hey all, I recently got a virus sent to me which was difficult to get
rid of, first indication was my pc booted up howling like a wolf!
Argh..it would not let me update my anti-virus program also. Anyway I
got rid of it by doing a full scan with AVG anti-virus which was
installed on my pc, it's the FREE version. I've used it for many years
and it works well for FREE, no bothersome reminders etc. Try it if you
want, I recommend it, here is a link: http://free.avg.com/

it was acting like a worm virus and sending it out to everyone in my
address book it seems, as It did with others. I made the mistake of
bitting when I saw it from a good friend. I thought, heck I'll play and
then i realized I got suckered. Knowing my friend would never do this
willingly, I figured it was one of those old worm viruses, so I did a
deep scann and found nothing. So beats me, but I will be doing a deep
spywear scan later tonight to be safe.
