They'll probably offer new parts as an option at your expense. They've got
to try and make some money...

Just got a recall notice on my 2004 Tacoma truck for frame rot. I was
previously told by Toyota that my truck was not affected. Their solution if
there is a problem.

REPLACE THE FRAME. HELLO??????

Why can't we get a Nissan recall on bad transmissions or worn timing gears
or
rusty rocker panels on the roadster.

I can't imagine what it will take to remove the frame from a truck with
139,000 miles on it. Do they replace everything else they break like
exhaust, ball joints etc when they pull it apart. Well I will know next week.
