Dan,

I hade the same issue a year ago. I took the seat belts out of the car and
soaked them in warm soapy water for an hour and then repeated a couple of
times. (Try a grease cutting dish washing liquid) Did the trick, it is amazing
how much dirt is in the webbing. I also got some liquid black dye from the
local store and did a round with black dye. Came out very nice. I would cation
that it will make the white labels on the seatbelts a gray tint if you still
have the labels on the belts. I also did a spot spray of WD 40 on the roller
inside the metal clasp just to keep that lubed up.
