I know many of us enjoy watching Spike TV's Powerblock shows on the
weekends. While the projects are usually US domestic based, Horsepower
(starting with Episode 357) just started a project swapping a built GM LS
series V-8 into a '95 Nissan 240SX. While not totally a bolt-in it appears
to be very doable with a minimum of fabrication.
It'll be fun to watch as this project progresses. Looks to me like some of
the bits used would be usable for anyone with a 240SX. We have an LS motor
in our '02 Suburban and it's really a nice piece. I'm thinking about
replacing the tired 4.3 V-6 in our '93 GMC pickup with a LS instead of a
traditional 350 or 383 small block.
If you don't have access to Spike TV the shows are available at
PowerblockTV.com and you can order DVDs of individual episodes for $5.00, a
real bargain. On longer running projects they usually offer start to finish
DVDs, too.
