Well, you don=E2=80=99t have to install the rear facing brake light. ;-)
Still think that the 5 point belts are worth it. IMHO much safer than a 40+
year old system which mounts in areas that **could** have rust issues=E2=80=
=A6

belts until you said =E2=80=9Crear facing (sic) stop light=E2=80=9D (I am a=
ssuming that you
meant a high-mounted brake light on the rollbar.) I wouldn=E2=80=99t waste =
my time
or money on that particular feature. High-mount brake lights are the single
most useless automotive feature ever foisted upon the motoring public.

To add my 2 bits here=E2=80=A6.
I had 3 points with my =E2=80=9969 2000. But the straps were rotten and the=
buckles
were corroded. I got them re-chromed and new straps at Snake Oyl (
www.ssnake-oyl.com). Wasn=E2=80=99t cheap, the total was on the order of $6=
00 a
couple years ago.
If I was going to do this again, I would buy a nice after-market roll bar
with a center bar. Put in a 5 point system with a rear facing stop light.
David Premo 67=E2=80=992000 is the ideal setup here. My guess is total woul=
d be on
the order of a few bucks more, but much safer all around!
