     Good day guys-

After the last race I put my car on the stands to look it over. I
found that the IRS driving flange was split wide-open! This happened
to me in the past and I just replaced the parts.

In the moss book it is part #44 (674-850). The stub axle fits into
this with a taper and woodruff key and is tightened up just like the
front stub axle. Now, this driving flange is no longer available.
Any sources? I will probably have to get another whole diff. unit.

-Though I believe that a TR6 differential unit and driving flange is
identical to a TR4A-IRS they have different part #'s.

Looking at the remnants of the flange it appears that it broke/split
all at one time. Metal fatigue? Loose taper fitting? I suspect that
the best thing to do is getting a flange and axle and getting the
tapers to fit by lapping. Comments?

Should machining in another keyway be helpful? -i.e. have two keyways
     or is this not needed.

     Thanks -Mordy
