Chip:

Good for you! What's wrong with your rear end anyway? Hemorrhoids? Fistula?

Bob Wismer and I just got back from GRATTAN (my favorite track). Great
weather! Great event! Lots of fun.

Jeff Snook was going VERY fast in his fresh TR3. In one session he was going
so fast he had to use a LOTUS ELETE as brakes. They came together. Very
little damage, except for embarrassment.

My car ran well, but I was having difficulty shifting in most sessions. I
made a switch from silicone brake fluid (before now I had always wanted to
preserve my paint, so I used and lived with silicone, but had bad experiences
at the WEST MICHIGAN GRAND PRIX Street race). So I switched to Castrol. I
ended up with air in my clutch system. Must be a seal failure, because we
bled it a half dozen times. Other than that I was happy with my performance.
I was about a second off my best GRATTAN lap times. This is with an old tired
engine. I am hoping to get Joe Alexander's old rings. He don't like them,
but I think they work GREAT!

PS

Did you hear anything about a TR6 hitting the wall (HARD) at ROAD ATLANTA over
the week end? I am not sure who it was, but I guess the car was totaled.
