I suppose that's both good and bad.

You mentioned most of the bad stuff.

I suppose one of the only good things is it helps more TRIUMPHs finish in the
TOP TEN OVERALL.

PS

Me and old WISMER were at a Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs BLACKHAWK
FARMS event over the week end. The turn out was quite good for early May.
There were about fifteen vintage cars in spite of the fact that there are
major vintage events next week end at bout Ginger Man and Road America. We
did not fare too well. I was driving our THUNDER BOLT. Had my first spin of
the year. In the carousel. Good to get that out of the way. I finished one
practice session, and then developed both starter and carburetor troubles. I
doubt if it is anything serious, and we should be ready for ROAD AMERICA next
weekend. I accomplished my objectives...getting the engine warm enough so I
can change the break in oil, and exposing any gremlins. WISMER ran well in
his LOLA T598 S 2000, and then broke a selector arm in the middle of his
race.
