I checked my 'original' last night (which is a poor, 23 year old,  copy of 
a notebook page, as sent to me by Group 44), and will try to answer your 
questions below:

Jack
        I would like to thank you  for sending me the drawing. Gee with the
Group 44 logo I feel I now have a piece of racing lore.  As this is a copy
of a copy some of the dimensions were washed away. Maybe you could help
figure them out?
         Starting at the left set of dimensions and working to the right..
1st. What is the 3.440 dem. referencing?

This dimension appears to have been penciled in after the original drawing 
was done.  It may relate to the rough line which is drawn at the top left 
of the hub drawing - may have been for an alternate shape for the outer 
surface of the hub, but I'm not sure (remember, I did these over 20 years 
ago!)  I do remember there was a slight modification we had to do to that 
end of the hub to get the Corvair dust cap to fit on to the end of the hub 
(it presses on).  Before machining the hub, I suggest you get a corvair 
hub, and match the O/D of the inner end of this hub to the Corvair design, 
to insure that the dust cover will press on.
2nd.  The 2.524(9?) 5 has a dem in (.5280) and some unreadable letters?

The dimension is 2.5295" +/- .0005".  Below the dimension it says (.5280") 
start.  I can only guess that he intended to bore the dimension to 2.5280" 
initially, before taking the final cut to 2.5295".
3rd.  top/middle dems. is it 1 27or37/64?

The dimension is 1 37/64 (not sure why he used fractions on some 
dimensions, and decimals on others?)   You will note that this is a 
superfluous dimension anyway (and it is incorrect, if you compare it to the 
dimensions on the bottom).  Without it, you have all of the external 
dimensions on the top of the drawing, and the internal dimensions are at 
the bottom of the drawing.  Not sure why it is there - I would leave it off 
your revised drawing.
4th.  bottom middle dems. the first dem  (next to  3/4) is totally
unreadable.

The dimension to the left of 3/4" on the bottom is 3/8" (I think - again, I 
would check the depth of this seal bore on a stock corvair hub to verify 
this one).  The dimension to the right of 3/4" is 1.825" +.000" -.005". 
 Above the dimension it says (.815 start).  See answer to #2, above.
5th.  the dem & letters in( ) above 1.825 dem are unreadable

6th.  the hole dem. 50 or 60 deg apart?... 21/64?

There are 6 holes in the bolt circle, so they would have to be 60 degrees 
apart.  The holes are 21/64", to fit over 5/16" studs
7th. bolt circle 4?/?

The bolt circle appears to be 4 1/4".  You might check a stock TR-4A or 
TR-6 hub to verify this.
        I hope these are clearer on your set.  I'm redrawing them on Auto
Cad LT and will send you a full copy when it's complete. If you have Auto
Cad I'll send a disk.

        By the way, I'm also working on a set of drawings for the rocker
shaft pedestals. I have been warned that this is a weak link and that they
break. I haven't been able to find anyone that makes them. and the set I 
was
able to find were not at all usable. Could you tell me , are the pedestals
on a TR-4 the same as that of a TR-6?  Others might be interested.
