Leakdown testing

Happy Holiday's to you all...

Can anyone advise on the validity of leakdown's on a cold engine?  I've 
consistently gotten 0-.5% but I suspect the cold oil may effect a rather 
better seal than when hot.

Another question with your forbearance, is .010 clearance per coil acceptable 
valve spring spacing for coil bind??  I'm having fits finding springs for the 
GT6 to use with 1.65 roller rockers.  What is a reasonable minimum clearance 
at full lift?
