Jon, your talents are being wasted (well, maybe not). I know there is a
place for you in advertising--we'd hire you on the spot after reading that
little piece. But great writing comes from honest truth, empathy and
compassion, and that's hard to muster when you're writing about the latest
pointless software glurp feature.
