Well, they put me out of business, but some changes have been made since then.
I suggest reapplying for an alternate rear axle.

Funny thing, a few years ago, when Bruce Qvale said that he just had to have 
an alternate rear axle for the "EP" Jensen Healey (which already had a HD one 
approved that he could not find with his modest resources?)  SCCA approved it 
in a fair period of time.
