Didn't race at Marlboro raceway, but spent a great week-end there in 1966
as part of the winning Group 44 pit crew. Bob Tullius ably assisted by Tony
Adamowicz cleaned up in the Raceway's celebrated twelve hour race with the
44 Dodge Dart, beat the Chrysler works Team Starfish Barracuda entry and a
team of Alan Mann Cortinas including BMW ‘works' star Hubert Hahne. Not
that a day goes by that I don't remember. Two autographed framed pictures
on the siiting room wall show... the Dart cresting the rim of the oval on
its way out to the road circuit ...the other shows a delighted Tullius and
Adamowicz posing with the car and the victors' spoils...after midnight. It
was a case of ‘hangover on toast' for breakfast.

Keep it going Foters- really do enjoy all of the technical and non
-technical toing and froing on the dear old e-mail machine. Must get this
one changed - the steam is making a mark on the ceiling.
