We had our monthly Intermountain Vintage Racing meeting this past week,
and have put the initial schedule on the slate:
March 17/18 Season opener Test & Tune
April 28/29 Driver's School, race weekend
May 19/20 race weekend, possible 1 hour enduro?
June 23/24 race weekend
August 18/19 race weekend
October 6/7 Final race weekend of the 2001 season
Some of you may want to keep that August 18 & 19 weekend in mind as you
make travel plans for VTR in Breckenridge. That may also be the weekend that
the Southern California Timing Association starts up Speed Week on the Salt
Flats. It is astounding what hardware one can see in the casino parking lots
the weekends those folks are in town.
Dates are subject to change with site availability (Odd that our little
handful of racers gets moved if the Air Force wishes to use Wendover for
training some weekend) but I'll keep folks posted if things change. One
can always check www.team.net/ivr, though that web site is as up to date as
most of my other projects. I did make a bit of progress on various team.net
chores this weekend, so I am a bit less behind than before. Computers, the
great timesaver!
