Brad:

Several years ago we bought one of the two post style with electric
motor/chain lifts from Richard Elam, Autolifters of America, 3450 North Rock
Road/Bldg. #500/Suite 507, Wichita, Kansas, 67226. We are VERY happy with
it. I only wish we would have bought it ten years earlier. I am getting so
old and lazy, that I even put the cars on the lift for polishing.

Our lift is in my shop (I am a contractor), so I did not have any height
restrictions. We bought their heavy duty model, so that we can also put pick
up trucks and fork lifts on it. Only down side is the pickups won't go under
'some' of our cars (too low). In those instances, we lift the car (at one
end) with a floor jack, and then place the pick up arms underneath.

You do need 220 single phase power to run the electric motor.

We LOVE ours.
