Hi all!

For those of you who might have been wondering about the "Nuclear
Junkyard" several folks who attended the Mid-Ohio Triumph event have
referred to, here's the story:
http://www.columbusalive.com/2000/20000914/feature.html

Allen Hogan showed up one day at the Mid-Ohio event, and before the
weekend was through, he had majorly helped out at least 7 of us
(including the Brit TR5, the Brit Spit, myself, Henry, and Greg
Petrolati) with parts from his incredible yard, tons of hands-on work,
and bags and boxes of goodies from Panera, a bakery in the area. What a
great guy.

His junkyard, Autojumble, is a wonderful place to see, nestled into a
GORGEOUS old sandstone quarry. British cars are stashed in, around,
over, and through all of the other stuff that is strewn around the huge
yard. It looks like uncontrolled chaos, but he knows exactly where
things are. He came up with a decent transmission with J-type OD for us
in just a few minutes, and a trans and drive shaft for the Brit Spit in
less time than that. Plus, he has Reliant engines, gas tanks and
steering wheels (from a company that was using the parts to make golf
course maintenance vehicles), hydraulic hoses, bicycles, scrap of every
imaginable identity, trucks, buses, parts for trucks and buses, and LOTS
of other fun stuff.

His number is 419/524-1088 and he is located in Mansfield, Ohio, just a
few miles from the track, if you need anything he might have.

Just FYI!

Keep Triumphing,
Susan :)
